Mavin singer, Reekado Banks has moved onto better things and bigger things too.
The fast rising award winning singer who completed a house for his parents in June, said he grew up without a silverspoon.
Yesterday (August 18) the ‘Katapot’ singer revealed how as a child he prayed to have his own house with a clean toilet because his family didn’t have one growing up.
“When I was younger, one of my prayers was that we moved into a house with a toilet so clean I would eat in it (Cos we used a pit latrine at the time). Now Im a proud owner of my own place. IM GRATEFUL TO GOD. IM GRATEFUL TO @donjazzy. IM GRATEFUL TO MY #REEKADDICTS. #21AndDoingIt #SMD” wrote the singer on his Instagram.
In April he recounted how he used to hawk blenders in traffic and work as a manual laborer at a construction site in a bid to earn some money to use to record music.
